Chiefs in IP/The FIPE networking event on 11 May
On 11 May, Marijn Kingma will participate in a panel for the launch event of the Dutch chapter of Chiefs in IP (ChIPs). ChIPs is a nonprofit professional organization that advances and connects women in technology, law and policy. ChIPs seeks to accelerate innovation through diversity of thought, participation and engagement. The event is organized in cooperation with the FIPE (Female IP experts).
The event will take place at Brinkhof and will start at 3:00 PM. The program is as follows:
– Explorer of the future and anthropologist Roanne van Voorst will give a keynote address about her research into different types of anxiety in extreme athletes. How do climbers or BASE jumpers deal with fear and doubts? And what is an effective strategy for the fear that everyone experiences at different times in life?
– In a panel discussion, Dorien Verhulst will talk to Anouk Boon, corporate patent counsel & Head IP at Avantium, Jacqueline Schaap, partner at Visser, Schaap en Krijger and upcoming (co-) Dean of the Amsterdam Bar Association, Milica Antic, head of legal at Google Netherlands , Janneke Slöetjes, head of global public affairs at Vinted, Fatiya Munkaila, lawyer at Brinkhof and our own Marijn Kingma. What are the challenges they have faced, or are perhaps in the middle of? What methods do they use to achieve their goals? Are there lessons for a new generation?
– The afternoon will be concluded with drinks on the roof terrace.
